Has anyone heard of this show yet, True Blood?
Here's the synopsis:
"True Blood details the co-existence of vampires and humans in Bon Temps, a fictional small Louisiana town. The series centers on Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress at a diner, who falls in love with vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer)." [from IMDB]
Hmmmm.... sounds vaguely familiar. Thoughts?
p.s. Is that guy really that ugly or is that just a bad picture??

It sounds like they are trying to write thier own version of Twilight. That's a good compliment to the book. Copy cat versions. (U C it in stories all the time.)

That guy is ugly - that was the first thing I thought when I saw the pic :)
ok the whole show sounds lame! And yes, that guy is Horrid looking! Barf.
I watched part of an episode the other night and it was actually pretty good. Definitely a Twilight ripoff, but there are a lot of differences. Like everyone knows vampires exist and there is a whole class system and political movement dealing with vampires. Kind of X-Men-ish in that way. Oh, and a lot more swearing and premarital sex (gotta love HBO!)
