So, in my old age, I'm getting wiser. I decided I should do some pre-Halloween pictures this year. Taken when my kids are mellow. When the smell of my desire for a good photo shoot isn't tangy in the air. When my pupils aren't dilated with the fear of not getting a single good shot. When they're lulled into a false sense of security, believing that the "dress up" is "just for fun." Suckers. So here is the Halloween preview. Now I will feel OK if they both turn into monsters (which is neither of their costume) on Halloween night.

Daphne as witch. Or "princess witch" as she calls it. My way of convincing her that her witch costume was what she wanted to be after she changed her mind.

okay, GREAT freaking idea!! two years ago i didn't get a SINGLE PHOTO of ANY OF MY 4 CHILDREN.

I am snappin' away already...and maddie is going to be a BEE this year! She is totally into winnie the pooh and loves Bees for some reason..she says 'honey' all the time.
I think the pre dress up pictures is a brilliant idea. I haven't even tried my kids costumes on yet to see if they fit. I love the princess witch costume! and the Monkey is adorable.
Great idea! I figured this out too a couple of years ago after I got crappy pics. Your kids look adorable too.
We also took pictures of Mason before Halloween. For some reason when they are little it seems to work out better that way! I love the costumes, they look very cute!!!
