Blog Dinner at Cafe Rio or Everybody Loves Mindi

Those in town who sort of know each other through the tangled web of blogging met up last night for a stuff-your-face and blah-blah-blogging dinner at Cafe Rio. You've never seen women talk this much. It was like an Enrichment activity on speed.

As you can see from the pictures, Mindi was SO popular. Notice the enraptured faces as she speaks. The crowd's adoration cannot be contained...and there is Queen Mindi, head high. Regal! Looking down over her people with such compassion. Sharing her presence with us. Magnanimous!

The sympathy, the joy, the sheer ecstacy of watching the real live Mindi talk is evident on everyone's face.

I will remember this day for the rest of my life and probably sleep with her picture under my pillow.

Here's the whole group (thanks for the pic, Holly!:

If you would prefer to watch a video of how it went, watch this (but subtract the man)....

oh my--i don't see a queen, looking regal down at her subjects--just a chick with a lot of chins--i think i conted 3!!!

awwwwwhhhhh--you know i was only queen for a second because:

1. i am an attention whore,i amidt it.

b., i'm like the new girl at school--nobody knows me so i'm intriguing, but once they figure out i suck, well.....

and, thirdly, i buy your love!!!

yes, its one big cheesball of love out there, but it really was all i hoped--i just hated leaving early.

you were just as beautiful in real life and even funnier than i thought you would be--thanks for not ruining the dream!!!!!

yeppers, the typo comment. so here is my recap:

(for mostly Mindi, but for all too)

Never admit to typos. Here are my excuses when typos appear in my writing:
1. the typo demons did it
2. the computer changed it, it was correct when it flowed from my fingers.
3. you just think you see a typo.

"It was like an Enrichment activity on speed." Sums it up perfectly, I think. I can imagine just how that was.
