The Yin To My Yang

When your husband goes to China for a week, you learn 2 things:

1) You can survive. If you absolutely had to do it on your own, you could. This is a good thing to know.

2) You never, ever, EVER want to have to. Everything is better with him here.

Amen~I did the single parent thing for 6 months....HATED IT more than anything EVER!
But it sure gave me a new appreciation for single parents!

I've done the single parent thing, as Judi put it for 14yrs.

Yes it can be done.
But it's one thing to do it for two weeks or 6months, it's quite something else to do it, day in day out, week in, week out, month in, month out, year upon year and you know what, I'd still rather have had those years with all the struggles, than spend one moment of them with the wrong partner.

Your lucky you got the right partner. Enjoy. lol.

much love

I say AMEN to Lia's comment. I would rather be happily married than happily single. But happily single has a lot of lovely side-benefits of double, stress-free relaxation and freedom. The pits of the universe is being miserably married to the wrong partner who makes every day a tense, angst-ridden exercise in fearful insecurity and wretched helpless despair!

A witness!

When is he going to China?? And why is he going to China?
Speaking of China, if I had a chance to go there a few things I'd want to buy- CD's and such.

Oh---I sometimes think that it would be nice to have mine gone more often---especially when he sulks around the house now that he got laid off.....sigh.

Mine has been traveling a lot lately too. He is, as we speak packing his bag for another trip. I miss him when he is gone. I guess we are both lucky that we have great partners.
