Update # 3
Remember this post I did about cheesecake? It was early on in my blogging career, so if you missed it...well, don't bother reading it. Unless you're as OCD about cheesecake as I am, then maybe read it. It was a really long post about me wanting to find a good NY style cheesecake. Otherwise, let's fast forward to this weekend. Big Daddy and I took my mom out for lunch for her/his birthdays and went to Zupas. If you haven't been to Zupas, treat yourself. It's super affordable. They have wonderful paninis, unbelievable soups, and their salads are deeelish. Especially with the fat-free raspberry vinagrette, which you totally can't tell is fat free. ANYWAY, my point is that they have a creme brulee cheesecake there. Did you just hear me say cheesecake and creme brulee in the same sentence? Oh yes you did. So can you guess what I'm about to say next? 'Swonderful. 'Smarvelous. And not just because it combines two of my favorite desserts into one. But because it is a fantastic TRUE NY style cheesecake. Just the right texture, and an amazing flavor. Once again, Zupas. Creme brulee cheesecake, tomato basil soup with orzo, salad with cinnamon almonds and fresh berries...Heaven.

I know what I want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the rest of my life.
Yes, but is it FIRM??
Creme brulee cheesecake!!! Oh my hart is all a twitter and that is probably from the diabetic coma I would be in after consuming several pieces. I need to find a way to get my hands on a piece or three.

I love me a good cheesecake, and I love Zupas too. In fact, I have it on good authority that one may be moving closer to your house soon :)

Cara, yes. It is firm enough to dance on! It's the real deal. I still owe you lunch there, so pencil me in sometime next week.
I LOVE Zuppas! I'll have to try that cake next time I'm near one. Yum. Their Strawberry Goat Cheese salad is TO DIE FOR!
Wow yum! I want everything you just suggested!!!
Chelsea, unfortunately Zupas is different from Zuppas. I know because I tried to order take out from the wrong website once! We don't have the two "p's here, just the one 'p.' So I'm not sure if yours has the cheescake. Let me know!
