The family and I went to IHOP for breakfast a couple of weeks ago. At IHOP they are nice enough to give you a little packet for each kid--a placemat/menu that they can color on and a couple of crayons. But the crayons, we quickly realized, were crap. Rather than coloring, they smeared small chunks of colored wax onto parts of the paper. Other parts remained white. My husband suggested they were probably made in China. "Look!" he said, "They didn't even spell 'crayons' right. They forgot the 'r'." Actually, they forgot a couple of letters and added some that both don't belong and that can't even be determined as specific letters of our alphabet. So next time you go to IHOP, make sure to take the time to enjoy the cajtons...or cagtons...or caitons. Whichever.

WOW that is pretty bad, did you at least point it out to your waiter. Not that they probably care but still kind of sad.

What little boy or girl wouldn't want cajtons!

What did you expect? IHOP is the Wal-Mart of the pancake world.

I think it says CAJTONG. That's awesome. It's always nice to have your camera on hand.

The crayons may suck - but the pancakes are delish!

This just made me think of that Italian restaurant (can't remember the name of it now) where the server writes his name on the paper tablecloth for you with a crayon, upside-down. Do you know what I'm talking about? I liked it because I could doodle on the table while I waited for food. Great place to go for a date with a stranger.
