Has anyone seen Benjamin Button? (Spoilers ahead! Skip to the next paragraph if you plan on seeing this movie). Because I just have a few questions: First of all, did the end make you cry? Secondly, did the end make you sob uncontrollably like a deranged lunatic? Like, so loudly that you couldn't even cover it up in a theater full of people? Cause, um, I totally fell apart at the end! Maybe it's just that I'm a parent and seeing a baby die was just too much. I don't know. But when baby Benjamin died at the end, I just lost it. Like totally, embarrassingly crying lost it. Sure, Big Daddy was shedding a few tears too. It was an emotional ending. But, seriously, what was my deal?? Did this happen to anyone else?
My third question is, am I the only one who just about had an orgasm in that scene where Brad Pitt is kissing Kate Blanchet and his pants are riding kind of low and you can just barely see the top of his bum? I try REALLY hard not to like Brad Pitt. It's so cliche. But, my gosh, when he finally got younger in that movie, I had to close my eyes and vigorously shake my head to keep from either passing out or drooling. That man is so fine and I hate that I like him!
Ok, now discuss.

Didn't cry at all. Not one tear.
I am dead inside.
And I can't find Brad Pitt appealing no matter how hard I try. He is a cheater. And cheaters suck.
I haven't seen the movie, but I give your post here four stars. You make me laugh.
I cried at the end too. Not bawled, I saved that for the end of Cold Mountain (have you even watched it yet?). But it was a sad ending for a mom to watch. The whole winding down of his age where she takes care of him was so wonderful and sad to watch.
I dont' remember that scene of orgasm-inducingness, but he did look GOOD when he was getting young. Maybe it's because he was so OLD most of the movie that it was a refreshing change.
I loved that movie...saw it opening weekend, and couldn't figure out why it didn't get much hype...until the Oscars...glad to see it got it's props there. I have always and will always be a fan of Brad Pitt. Even when he was out, he was always in for me. He's timeless. Personal life aside. I think he's a fantastic actor with a broad range. I have loved every movie I have ever seen him in. ...and he's handsome to boot. But, he does have bad skin. Thank goodness for photo shop. He just has that boyish charm that totally gets me.
LOVED this movie! Love Brad Pitt---great actor---you should see him in that new Cohen Bro. movie---so funny! And when he took his shirt off in Fight Club? AAAhhhh moment!
Ok, did I mention that I am an artist and I admire the human form...hmmmm.
As for Button, yes sirree, I cried! I didn't bawl too much, because it would ruin my makeup and make my contacts fog up----but when I see it at home on DVD----I will certainly let go---yes, just like the end of Cold Mountain----the book as well as the movie.
LOVE a good cry time.
I haven't seen the movie yet. I don't get out much.
But I have a friend who refers to that cry (the kind where you are trying to hold it in to save your dignity, but it escapes.loudly.)as the "calf beller".
Very descriptive!
WHAT?! He dies at the end?!?!
Just kidding. :D
I haven't seen it yet but I'm sure that when I do I'll be crying like a baby.
I'm another Brad Pitt fan. Tib is right, he's a cheater, but I seem to have the ability to separate celebrities from their real-life personas. I don't really care what he's done as a real person, as a movie star he is H-O-T!!! And yes, he's a conventional choice, but again - I don't care!
i haven't seen the movie yet, but now that i know about the "pants scene", i'm heading to fandango to get my ticket!
Haven't seen it, and not sure I want to, NOT a Brad Pitt fan. Sure his looks are handsome, but anyone who chooses Angelina Jolie over Jennifer Aniston just ain't right in the head.
However, Omgirl in the ugly girl cry? THAT I would love to see
haven't seen it yet. i will for sure cry. & I HATE myself for loving brad, but damn...he is way too fine!
Sorry, he is to white for me, but, I did cry at the end of it like a baby too, but then I think it brang back memories of giving birth to my deceiced baby.
sad. sad.
What? HE DIED at the end? Oh well - I'll still probably Red Box it just b/c Brad Pitt is the hottest thing ever.
Way to spoil it Ari! I totally cried when she's walking along and lens down and kisses him when he's a toddler. And then at the end? I wish they'd given ten or fifteen minutes of buffer time instead of just ending it. Then I had to walk out of the theatre crying all over the place.
And I hate that I like Brad too. Although I'm glad he left that dried-up, selfish, no-kid-wanting Jennifer.
Where's your "spoiler alert"? Haven't seen it yet. I hate it that I find him lust worthy too.
Yes, cried like a baby. I think Ryan got embarrassed!! I have to say that was one of his hotter roles...let me clarify, the young Brad!
Loved the life lessons in this movie.
You know, nobody in that movie had any sexual morals. But I loved the movie anyway. I thought it was thought-provoking, touching, and AMAZING with the special effects Yes, even I, your old mother, wept at the end. And, yes, even I, your old mother thinks Brad is too hot for his (or our) good. After all, the Lorie inside the old body is still 23.
