The 80's Called. They Want Their Clothes Back.

FYI: This is NOT a vintage 80's picture. It was taken LAST WEEK.

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? I wore this exact outfit in 1985. And I am NOT doing it again. I'm sorry, but the 80's were a decade that should not be repeated. EVER. Is it just me? Or does anyone else find their stomach contents rising suddenly when they see the teen fashions these days?

That scares the blip out of me! As a member of the class of 87, I will warn all teens: please cover your eyes, girls, no good can come from that! Run, run away! I know Girls just wanna have fun, but please!

I started noticing this alarming trend a couple of months ago. I'm in denial. Pretty sure I don't want to start pegging my pant legs again, or wearing stirrup pants. ICK!

Sick.en.ing isn't it?

Unfortunately my daughter seems to have a taste for this "style" If I would have known this I would have just boxed up all my old clothes. It would have saved me a butt load of money.

Ya whats with bringing the 80's back? LAME! At Pacific Sunwear a few months back they had these acid washed jeans in every color of the rainbow! YIKES! Gag me with a wooden spoon!

The thing I'm hating the most is that tacky plastic jewelry. Double yuck. It doesn't even pretend to be real. It's just plain, old plastic. Canary and the Elephant, here I come!

I KNOW!!!! Was this taken at Forever 21? That store is horrible.

No no and triple no to the 80's! I don't think I can do it. Except the big hair. I would be okay with that!

Um, yup! I totally agree!

Well, I don't mind the leggings and the big tops with the empire waists that cover about any lump at the waist, but are you kidding me?

This is depressing.

Hideous. And depressing. If I fall under some crazy delusion that I look cute in any of this just shoot me.

That is fantastic! I love it.

But then again I love the 80's.

Hate it now while you can! It will vanish in 3 years, and then be back again in 25 years, just in time for your grand-daughters to rave about!

Remember in the 80s when all you little teeny-boppers SWORE you would never in your lifetimes wear hip-hugger pants with flared legs like your mother's did in the 70's? Or Empire waistlines? Or Mini-skirts? Or skin-tight T-shirts?

Cute title, by the way!

Yes, every morning when Sacoya comes down stairs. But then I remind myself that if I once wore this, and survived, she will too!

HELLO??!!! i have a post in drafts that has some equally awful outfits. i think it's already been done once. WHY try it again?

I know, it is sickening! I should have saved my old things for my stepdaughters to wear. Aren't the designers original at all? Why do they have to go back to the worst fashion era and bring it back? Let's have some class people.

I sure hope their inventory isn't turning over. Not only do I not want to wear this stuff, I don't want to see it on others. I'm afraid to go in public now.
