Don't Throw Up.
I'm serious.
Your body's first reaction when you see the picture below will be to blow chunks all over your computer screen. So I'm warning you ahead of time, don't hurl. Hold it in.

This is a picture of my legs, circa April 1994. Remember where I was in April of 1994?
That's right. And I had no running water. No way to shave. So I just decided to grow it out. It would not be exaggerating to say that I had serious monkey hair on my legs. Well, you can see it for yourself. But even when I got home, shamed my family name, and shaved it all off, I always had scatchy, pokey, horrible dark leg hair stubble.
Then I got my legs lasered.
No more stubble, no more scratching my husband in bed, no more worrying about going swimming at a moment's notice (cause I do that a lot) or wearing shorts in the summer. Just silky, soft, perfectly hair-free legs (and bikini, if you must know). Forever and ever, amen.
IT WAS THE BEST MONEY I HAVE EVER SPENT.
See? Much better. No puking necessary.

I totally had my arm pits lasered and swear it is the best money I ever spent. I SO want to have my legs done next.
WOW!!! That is amazing!
Are you sure you don't want to use the Smooth Away system and give yourself 3rd degree burns?
Wow. That is impressive.
Very nice.
Are those your legs in the lat picture? Because they look good.
not to be tooo nosey...but how much did that cost. I have been thinking about getting it and I'm only 22!
i REALLY appreciate you posting this and sending me that email.
i've pretty much decided i'm going to do it. now, i just need to find out where.....
That is awesome! I SO want to do this. Shaving is such a pain. Although I do wonder if all that hair will come back in the resurrection. :D
Perhaps Brazil needs to be lasered. I'm considering it.
Chelsea, my thoughts exactly... cause if it all comes back I am going to have the mother of all uni-brows!!! I would totally get it done but I am so stinking cheap. But really it would make my life so much easier.
Love the hairy leg photo, very brave!
It was about $115 per session, that was for my legs and bikini together. And I did 6-7 sessions. So let's see...um....it was a lot. But spread out like that, it didn't seem too bad. And anyway, TOTALLY worth it. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, I'm considering getting a few more areas done!
I've wondered about lasering. But then I also wonder about that "not a hair on their heads will be lost" thing. Does that mean body hair as well? I ponder that. Really I do.
I so want!!! And are those really your legs in that first pic? Cause I really can't believe it!
That picture looks like the winter me!
I need to look into that laser---but I am saving for lipo----hmmmm---laser----lipo----laser----lipo....
Ooo now I want my pits done.
Your blog was "recommended" to me by Google Reader...how special are you! :) I have to say I love this one. I lived in England and during the winter decided that hairy legs would keep me warmer while outside. When I finally shaved I took a picture of one shaved/one hairy. My husband said it almost made him not marry me. :) I think your post has inspired me...I'm going to sell whatever I can so I can raise a couple hundred bucks and I am TOTALLY DOING LASER. Thank you.
That first pic looks like my brother's legs. The second pic, though, like Jennie asked, are those yours? If you get those other areas done then you don't have to worry about your international travel problems.
