A Permanent Reminder of a Temporary Feeling

And while I'm on the subject of tattos, I wonder if any of these people will later wish they hadn't gotten these tattoos:

Like this girl, when she moves out of state after college. Cause I'm pretty sure no one else likes Ohio that much.

Or this guy on the right when he tries to get his first real job. Uh, sorry, the position has already been filled...sir. The guy on the left, well, I'm not sure he'll have any more problems in life than he already had.

Do you think this girl will wish she hadn't gotten this tattoo when she gets out of her dinosaur phase?

Or this guy when he tries to pick up on chicks and they realize he is super into UFOs?

Please don't hate me for posting this one. I go back and forth between hilarity and disgust. But I'm pretty sure the day will come when he'll rue this tattoo choice.

Looking at the rest of this guy, I'm wondering at the choice of Hello Kitty for center stage. Cause his general look doesn't really say "cute Japanese kitten" to me.

Usually tattoos are a way to show how cool you are. But sometimes they just prove how big of a nerd you are.

Seriously? Does anyone like that show that much???

Please tell me all of these women are his daughters. Cause if one of those skanks is his girlfriend or wife, he's going to need a lot of laser treatments soon, I'm pretty sure.

Call me crazy, but i kind of think this one is cool! But I have a feeling Spiderman will look a lot dumber once his chest hair grows back in.

This one, however, I think no one could ever regret. Patrick Swayze as a centaur in Rainbowland? It's a keeper, for sure.

What do you think? Do you see any tattoo removals in their future?

Wow those are amazing AND crazy! I can't believe how detailed most of them are. The psycho needs to be removed, but I do like the spiderman. The dinosaurs look really cool, but as a tattoo? And the alien is interesting, but would freak me out if I saw in real life! Where did you find those?

Yeah tattoos are very very very permanent. I have looked into having mine removed and not only would it cost me 3-5K every doc I have seen so far said that they will just look like big scars and that they couldn't guarantee that they would even come off.

I have the same fun trying to explain to my daughter why we don't do tattoos in our family. She happens to really like mine!

That Swayze one is the best ever! Especially since he's wearing his Chippendales outfit from the Chris Farley skit.

How UTTERLY gross! ALL of them! I think I could live with Ohio. I mean it isn't gaudy and only looks sophomoric, and she may live there all her life. But those others! AAAaaaerrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh!

Yeah, Right Arianne. I remember you saying to me "But I'm only DECORATING my temple."

Why don't you phone me and tell me what was so horrible you deleted the content from your blog. Ummmm, but maybe I'm not "adult" enough for what they said.

That last one wasnt' a very good artist, I must admit--and the blonde hair is hilarious.

Agree that the spiderman one is kind of cool, but creepy...

I want a tattoo of my family members in cartoon form on the back of my head. BTW, I know a guy that has the ninja turtles tattooed on his shoulder standing over a manhole with a broken vial of ooze. He also has the decepticon logo on his elbow and a few other comic book characters on his arm. His explanation was that they were all the things he loved growing up and that some of his best memories were based on those things.....sounds like he may have more sense than most who get tattoos.

What's wrong with those tattoos? I've got one of Patrick Swayze dancing with Judge Judy in Care-a-lot.
