What Happens When There is Too Much Laundry?

The answer is, you get a lame post like this while I fold clothes:

I want to know how you all met your spouse.

See? Quick and painless. Now back to the whites...

Oh, and as for me, we met at a restaurant. I was a waitress, he was my boss. We didn't date then, though. We were both in other relationships then. But we ran into each other about 4 or 5 months after I stopped working there. I had just gotten back in town from a semester abroad and went to my storage unit to get some stuff. He coincidentally had a storage unit in the same building. We passed each other, me driving out, him driving in. Then we stopped our cars, looked out the windows at each other, and....the rest, as they say, is history!

We met on LDS Singles. No joke. He was like the 3rd or 4th guy I went out with, and that was it. We took off our profiles like 3 weeks later.

We met at the library in the writer's group. He says he doesn't remember (smilingly) the 1st meeting but his secretary says he went to work the next morning and told her to mark the meeting on his calendar for the next 2 years - he met a girl.

My girlfriend was with me we got in the car and she said - he'll make you a nice husband - i couldn't believe she said that - i had been single for 47 years and thot i thot that was fine.

the first thing he ever said to me in a group of people - they were trying to guess ages - i said i am 47 - he said - do you know that is the perfect age to be my wife?
We had not dated yet. He touched my hand - i didn't think i could wash it again. My girlfriend said - he's not elvis.

June 28th we will be married 1 yr!

In our family we have a history of love in the restuarant biz. I was a waitress; my husband was a costumer at my restaurant. He thought I was cute but was too shy to ask me out. He got enough guts to come back the next night to ask me on a date.

I met my hubby at church---he was speaking on the importance of music in the home and my daughters and I were singing!

Great fit!

I met Jeremy when I was on a date with his friend.
I liked the look of him. He was playing hacky-sack and was freaking amazing at it.
Got his number.
Called him. (cuz I knew he wouldn't. good manners. I WAS dating his friend)
23 years later, baby!

9th grade English but we didn't really know each other till Senior year when we both ended up on Seminary Council.

And at that time he was totally enamored with my best friend (as were most of the guys on the Seminary Coucil..I'm not bitter...much).

He left for his mission. My best friend got married and broke his heart. He came home off his mission. I was looking to go out on a mission. He was a "safe" date who turned out to be not so "safe".

Next time you can solicit fans and followers to write your post for you. I'm sure none of us would mind.

Jen said I can comment on how we met but I think she did it already, very succinctly: we met on Yahoo chat. The longer version is we chatted for a few months while I was in Utah and she was in Colorado. In less than a year after we started chatting, we were married. You can ask Jen for the extended version with commentary.

I was on the welcoming committee (one of those "made up" but very important callings that they have in a student ward) at CU (Boulder). My to be hubby was a new transfer student and I did a very good job of welcoming him. He was smitten from the start!
