TMI

Ok, this probably crosses the line into things you shouldn't blog about, but I need some advice...

So I started the pill 2 weeks ago. I haven't been on it in about 5 years. So I took it every night, right on time, only I missed it by 12 hours one day. but I caught up as per the instructions. Then 3 days ago I got some spotting. And then today, full-on AF (Aunt Flo). Half way through my cycle. WTH is going on? Anyone?

Sorry - I have no advice. I can't take the pill. I don't think I ever even made it one whole cycle. That sucks though - hope its just a fluke

I think your body might just need to adjust. Who knows. But you're a week up on me. I'll start the damn day we leave I think. Lame-o. I'll be the one at the pool with the Modbe swimsuit and the string hanging out the bottom.....

I can't take the pill anymore either (because of my blood disorder) but I guess break-through bleeding is fairly common. If it keeps happening they may need to give you a different formula.

Wow that stinks, big time! I am pretty sure that your body will get used to it after a couple of months ("they" say 3), but if not the doc will probably have you try a different pill.

me no help either--haven't taken the pill for years and years.
i think you should just go with the preferred method of ABSTINANCE.
then, no worries about what that pill is doing to your body.
better yet, just live on the edge--it would be like your own little soap opera every month ;)
but seriously, have you talked to your doctor??

What type of pill is it? I had a type that literally made me bleed every other week. My doctor said that sometimes the body just doesn't react the way it should. It was a pill that was suppossed to give you lighter cycles- not exactly. I was on it for three months -no change. I tried a different kind and now I am regular. Thank goodness! Good Luck!

It's Tri-levelin. I was on it for years with no problem. But this is the first I've used it since having kids. I wonder if that is has affected me somehow.
