Basket Case

I just cried at a Folgers commercial. A FOLGERS COFFEE COMMERCIAL!!! I'm a disgrace. I mean, this wasn't even a Hallmark commercial. Not even one of those touching AT&T ones where somebody calls their grandma on her birthday after she thinks everyone forgot. This was a commercial about a guy coming home from Africa for Christmas and bringing his sister a present, and she sticks the bow on him and says "You're my present this year" and then they drink coffee while I bawl like an idiotic baby. Over a coffee commercial. Nevermind the part where the guy smells the Folgers and says "Mmmmm, coffee!" like he never got coffee the whole time he was in Africa. Hello, coffee COMES FROM AFRICA. But did that stop me from turning into a sobbing mess? No. Because I'm a total freaking basket case.

Thanks, hormones. Thanks a lot.

I'm not pregnant or even hormonal, but I cry at those Christmas Folgers commercials every year! I don't think y'all have Publix out there, but those commercials hit a nerve, too.

Oh I am laughing right now. With you, not at you, of course. Yeah.

I think the real problem here is that Folgers tastes like the ground where a rat might live. What a crappy gift.

I have to agree with CaraDee.

I'd like to know what this does to you. FYI: I bawled and I don't care much for dogs.

THAT commercial doesn't do much for me, but there are some like it that leave me all weepy and I'm way too old for babies or hormones. (Except those in a pill...) I love you just the way you are--a mess.

That commercial makes me cry because - that NEVER happens. Not in real life. But oh wouldn't it be nice?

I watched Amy's lost dog commercial and kind of teared up myself. Maybe I'm better off with no TV.

Have a tear! It's GOOD for your heart!

That commercial is from years ago. We pulled the plug on the television almost two years ago. We have netflix and I watch some shows online, but I hardly ever see commercials anymore. As a consumer, it's hard because there's nobody telling me what I need to buy. ;)
I miss movie previews the most.

Aw. You big sap! Kleenex commercials used to get me. Even when I wasn't pregnant.

(my word verification is 'zookestr.' I'm going to try to use that in a sentence today.)

Thanks a lot, Amy! I was crying as soon as the Winnabego drove away in the first clip. by the end of the 3 commercials, when Badger gets home, I was real life SOBBING. That was way worse than the Folgers commercial. Now I need some allergy medicine to dry me back up.

Those lovely hormones. When I was pregnant with James I full-on bawled when I saw that the snow cone stand was closed. I didn't even like snow cones that much.

I am a crier pregnant or not! I think it is sweet that you are getting all weepy over a coffee commercial :)

Wow, and I wonder what would have happened if it HAD been a Hallmark commercial?

Sadly, I can relate and I've never even been preggers.
