Begging For Money

I'm here to humble myself. To beg from all of you. I need help. Actually, what I really need is money. I wouldn't usually post on my blog that I needed this kind of help, but I've reached the end of my rope and I just don't know where to turn. So I'm asking for any of you to donate money.

Specifically, quarters.

Here are the ones I need:

Pennsylvania

New Hampshire

Mississippi Thanks, JJ. Send me your email and I'll send you my P.O. Box.

Arkansas

Illinois This one just showed up ON MY DOORSTEP! Erin, you rock! I didn't even know you still read my blog.

You didn't really think I was going to beg for REAL money, did you??

I've been collecting quarters for about six months now. I'm down to these last 5 and I just can't seem to come across any. If you have one and would love to be my benefactor, just let me know what you've got. And if I deem you worthy, I'll send a P.O. box you can mail it to. Come on...all it takes is a little sofa diving or a quick scan through that re-assigned car ash tray. Please don't relegate me to yet another trip to the laundromat to exchange $20's for quarters. Thanks.

Sincerely,

The Needy

Silly girl. And yet, each of us collects something. I've often wondered why.

I have some Brazilian money---I brought back for Aydan....

I will look for the NH one---I'm sure that we have one somewhere!

You could go get them at any bank. I suppose that would be too easy. Besides, they expect you to PAY for your quarters, there.

OK...first of all you crack me up...I thought for sure it was for your kids collection...My oldest has the state collection book and has been doing it for a few years...kinda cool because they started the new State quarters in 1999...the year he was born....but no YOU are collecting them! how funny!

....So...do you want the good news or the bad news first.....well since I can't hear your answer...how 'bout the good?....Yes! i have all those quarters!...now for the Bad: they belong to my son and are wedged in a collectors book....but I will promise to keep my eye open for the ones you need!

maybe we can trade? looks like he still needs California 2005, Wyoming 2007, Utah 2007 (i know some blogger is holding this one!), Arizona 2008, and Hawaii 2008. So you guys got any of those!!??

good luck!

Did you ever complete your collection? By the way, I think these quarters are real money. I put one in a fancy machine and it dropped a Dr. Pepper at my feet.
