Daddy, Look what Daphne made you with the marker you left out this morning...
And then she made you this...
The marker is 75% fainter after I scrubbed him from head to toe. So now it just looks more like bruises than marker. AND Beck has his doctor's appointment today so now I'll be recognized as the Mom with the most artistic toddler in the whole office. Or else a child abuser. One of the two. Hope you like scrubbing too, Daddy, because Daphne got creative with the carpet in the playroom, the couch, and lots of toys. See you at 5!

See, I told you it wasn't just Ada who drew on your sofa!
YES YES YES!!!
By the way, last night we were watching "America's Got Talent" (don't ask me why...) and there was this cute mulatto boy who looked like he was 5, but said he was 9 on. He was a great singer. But when he talked, he sounded exactly like Daphne...I kept laughing so hard.
WOW! lol that is one creative child! Im sure her daddy will love to clean up the mess too! ;)
Poor Beck! Seems to get the butt end of everything! LOL.. On the other hand, one day it will be funny for you to talk about.
LOL! this is hilarious!
poor guy, but oh so amusing.
Yikes! At least the marker wasn't permanent.
Oh my that reminds me of Aspen, she was just like that, including our leather sofa and chairs. On the bright side it makes for great scrapbook pages!
So cute and so funny, of course that is because I am not the one cleaning it all up... Daphne is an artist, and her brother does make a rather handsome canvas!
LOL! That is too funny! Poor Beck.
Why does Jasper look exactly like a young Finn in those pictures? Just be glad that it wasn't a black sharpie!
Priceless!!
BTW, I tagged you. (See my blog for the tag questions.)
Ben, I think you mean Beck, not Jasper? I've never noticed the resemblence to Finn, but people tell me Beck looks like YOU all the time!
Best post of the day! I love the little blue piggies!
ahhhhhhh, the marker incident--don't we each have one of these for each child? yours is cake compared to the defiling of family photos....it's way cuter when it's on their face and not your 300 dollar canvas family photo!!
My kids draw on themselves with markers all the time..I know I am weird..I prefer it on their skin than on my carpet or furniture..and I like to see what they come up with.
You will think I am crazy, but so far no one at our house has broken out...i use Clorox wipes...they work amazingly well...just be careful around the eyes.
I love it when Daddy is busted!
Love it! If I had a dollar for everytime my kids drew on the other kids - well, I would take you to IHOP ;)
I guess you can hope she doesn't become a tattoo artist one day.
