O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!

This pie chart pretty accurately describes my life sometimes:

When I was a kid, my mom used to tell us that whenever we couldn't find something, it was The Borrowers who took it and hid it.

Well, I recently lost two very dear things to me. I guess "very dear" is a overdoing it a bit because, after all, they're just items of clothing. But one is a pair of the most comfortable shoes EVER. Born wedges--dark brown cris-cross straps and jute platform heels. I loved them. They were cute, perfect for so many outfits in summer, and comfy enough to walk in all night. The second thing was a kind of drapey sweater, the kind that are popular right now that come down to little points in the front. It was a bargain buy at the end of winter, impulse, not-even-tried-on. but it turned out to be super flattering and very versatile. And, as it turns out, irreplaceable since it came from the clearance rack. So when summer came this year and my Borns didn't show up in any of my shoe boxes, I was super sad. And when I misplaced my sweater after my dance performance, I was heartbroken.

Then, last week, on the SAME DAY, I found both! I guess cleaning out your closet to pack for a move is sometimes a good thing. Or else the Borrowers finally brought them back. Either way, it was a VERY good day for me. HOORAY For Finding Lost Things!

I found a sweater that I was missing all winter and even though it was about 30 degrees to hot to wear it, I put it on because I was so happy to have found it! I wonder if I remembered to put it away?

I love it when I my stash money away and forget where I put it… and then, later, I find it. It's just like getting Christmas presents all year around.

I wonder how many people got your title. Why don't you do a blog on famous but weird phrases and quotations. See who can identify them. (Yeah, right now in your spare time!)

I'm glad for your shoes and sweater, and also want a picture of both.

Do you realize you haven't announced on your blog that you are definitely moving to a new house (with pictures) and have sold your old house. What are you going to call your blog now?

Looking for things I just had a minute ago.
I hate to break it to you, but if genetics are any indication, we are both in a whole mess of trouble in that area. I hope you fare better than I do. I'm ready to buy a book on amazon about women and adult ADD.
L already asked my question. What ARE you going to call your new blog?
I'm in the process of setting mine up now. I hope you will follow since it would be bad on my self-esteem if nobody followed. :)

The title is from The Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll.
It's one of my favorites. Once I had to have a bunch of planter warts cut out of my feet which required several shots to numb them. I was terribly afraid of needles at the time. (Childbirth has cured me of that a bit as I have learned that there are a lot more painful things to be afraid of) I squinted my eyes shut and recited the Jabberwockey in my mind the entire time as I was getting the shots. It helped for some reason.

(I remembered my password again. Amy: 1. ADD: 0.)

L:
Google makes it easy to cheat. You can google entire phrases. But I actually knew the Jabberwocky. I give you my word as a Spaniard.

(Everybody better know that one.)

My last comment. Off to purchase my book now.

That's funny, I used to love that show. Be prepared to like those borrowers, cause even though you found "stuff" while packing, you'll notice much more "missing" when unpacking!
